Biography

In charge of Think Ball since its foundation, Marcelo Robalinho holds a law degree from USP – Largo do São Francisco, and in 2013 he received a Master’s degree in Law from the Swiss university UNINE (Université de Neuchâtel), which together with FIFA’s International Centre for Sports Studies, specializes in Sports Law. In December 2013, he launched the book “Third-Party Ownership of Football Players,” a work that raises a debate about the use of investors in football. Participated in more than 1,000 transfers of soccer players around the world and counts with important victories in cases before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS / TAS – Switzerland) and Brazilian Courts, being the first Brazilian lawyer to obtain injunction for the liberation of the federative bond of a player victim of racism.

Globally, the agency has extended its activities throughout Europe for 18 years and now has offices and consultants throughout the Old Continent fluent in several languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Dutch, German, Turkish, Portuguese , etc).  

Currently, Think Ball represents 67 soccer players of different nationalities (Brazilian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Belgian, Swiss and Cameroon) in 12 countries (South Africa, Brazil, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, the United States, France, Greece, India, Portugal, Switzerland and Turkey).
