This unique event will bring together some of soccer’s most influential personalities to discuss the future of soccer in the face of a rapidly changing global landscape. This conference could not come at a more opportune time, as the soccer industry attempts to manage the uncertainty of COVID-19 and its effects on sport at both the elite and grassroots level, from 2021, towards the World Cup in 2022, and beyond.
The topic “How is Soccer Responding to the Pandemic?” provides a unique opportunity for participants to share reflections on the past year and discuss how they and their organizations envision adapting their future practices as a result. The virtual conference will host a number of speakers from soccer and soccer-related organizations such as clubs, confederations and corporate (media, apparel, sponsors) as well as business school professors, soccer supporters and former players.
